FP&A Business Partner – HFG

I am currently working with a specialist Lloyd’s insurer who are looking for a FP&A Business Partner to join their financial accounting team. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director, Director of Underwriting, Director of New Business and other senior finance personnel to produce planning data

Key responsibilities

Lloyd’s Quarterly Monitoring Return B (QMB) – class of business forecast return production and quarterly submission
Annual planning and quarterly re-forecasting exercises, incorporating Solvency II / Solvency UK requirements
Forecast and planning information for existing clients and the relevant Lloyd’s returns (e.g. Cashflows in the QMA, Ultimates in the QMB, GAAP forecasts)
Assist FCs with Syndicate result’s commentary (plan v actual)
SBF Business Planning
Planning data including forecasts to Ultimate and GAAP Forecasts.
Accountable for Monthly premium tracking against plan, reporting and analysis and presentations
Balance Sheet Planning/Forecasting
Other ad hoc Management Information and analysis as required

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
3 years + FP&A (or similar nature) and Business Partnering experience
Lloyd’s Insurance business knowledge/experience essential (QMA/QMB/SBF)
