The Opportunity:
Our client, a leading logistics and infrastructure company, is seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst to join their team based in Teesside. The role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role within a vital national infrastructure business and will be suited to a strong analyst and modeller.
Main duties/responsibilities:
Lead the monthly financial reporting and forecasting process, including preparation of management and board packs.
Coordinate and produce board-level financial presentations and budget documentation.
Manage the annual budgeting process, long-term and short-term cash flow forecasting, and revenue/capex forecasting.
Monitor and report on financial risks, opportunities, and debt covenants.
Collaborate with external finance stakeholders on financial modelling and investor presentations.
Conduct project appraisals, including IRR and cash flow analysis
You will be/have:
Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience.
Strong corporate financial modelling skills in Excel.
Familiarity with OLAP financial reporting systems.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication skills, especially in liaising with senior management and analysts.
Benefits:
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)
Annual Leave: 25 days (increasing to 30 with service) plus bank holidays
