Financial Accountant 6 month contract

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to contribute to a business in the industrial and manufacturing sector on a fixed-term contract. Based in Thame, this role focuses on month end, VAT filing, ledger reconciliations and systems change

Description

Reporting to the Controller you are tasked with:

Setting up an effective Cash Flow Forecasting and Management process
Create and deliver and effective month-end close process
File VAT as required.
Reconciliation of ledgers/ bank/ balance sheet
Support the team as they transition to a new finance system

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA). ESSENTIAL
Experience in Month end close, VAT submission, balance sheet reconciliations ESSENTIAL
Proficiency in accounting software ( eg: Xero, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Commutable to the office 3 days per week ( 2 days from home)
Available to interview and start IMMEDIATELY

Job Offer

Competitive salary range of £45000 to £55000 per annum.
Flexible working arrangement: 3 days in the Oxford office, 2 days from home.
3-6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT
