Financial Accountant

REED Finance are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a high-performance organisation based in West Oxfordshire. You will play a key role with general financial accounting duties, with a strong focus on inventory accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the month-end close process for assigned business areas, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations
Lead on inventory accounting and support other smaller business areas
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies and improving audit readiness
Collaborate on ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) development to enhance automation and accuracy

Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Strong experience in inventory accounting, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
Proven ability to improve financial processes and systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
