Finance Systems Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining & evolving their core finance systems, supporting both UK & international operations.

You’ll be instrumental in delivering change projects, driving continuous improvement, & ensuring the integrity of their financial systems & data.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage & support an Assistant Finance Systems Accountant
Maintain & operate core finance systems (e.g., E5, DIDOS)
Ensure data integrity, system reconciliations, & liaise with third-party vendors
Lead & support system separation projects
Provide technical systems support to the finance community, including SQL queries
Deliver finance-related projects in collaboration with IT & third parties
Ensure compliance with audit requirements & maintain accurate user access records
Identify & implement system/process improvements
Support & cover for other members of the Finance Systems team

What I’m Looking For

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant
Strong financial accounting background
Highly IT literate, with experience in SQL and Excel (medium to advanced)
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in a similar finance systems role
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confidence to challenge existing processes and drive improvements
