Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an established organisation based in Cannock who are looking to recruit an experienced finance officer on a full time basis. In this role you will be responsible for managing and administering financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
Management and efficient operation of the accounting function according to agreed procedures.
Monitor accounting procedures and resolve any problems.
Preparation of invoices, processing and payment for all goods and services provided.
Reconciliation of bank accounts.
Collection of fees and other dues, and recovery of bad debts.
Prepare final accounts and liaise with auditors.
Be a point of contact regard to gifts and other donations.
To be involved in projects that relate to finance: obtaining quotes, advising staff of best value.
Requirements:
Two years experience within a similar role.
Excellent attention to detail.
AAT Qualified.
Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
