Development Finance Manager | Social Housing | 12 Month FTC | Agile Working

Castlefield are partnering exclusively with a Housing Association in the Midlands who will be looking for a Development Finance Manager initially on a 12 month FTC basis. Although this is being advertised as a FTC, there is a possibility of the post becoming permanent.

Working as part of the SMT, you’ll be responsible for leading the Development Finance function. You will have significant Development experience in Social Housing and a proactive and detail orientated approach.

On offer is a salary of £60,000 – £67,500 dependant on experience, with hybrid working in place (1 day per week from their Midlands office), although there must be flexibility to travel to sites as required.

Business Partnering: Provide expert financial support and challenge to the Development directorate.
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of accountants, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
Financial Reporting: Own the month-end process and deliver accurate, insightful management reports.
Forecasting and Analysis: Review and challenge project cashflows and sales forecasts to ensure robust financial assumptions.
Governance and Compliance: Prepare reports for committees and Boards, and ensure timely regulatory returns.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work flexibly across teams, contributing to wider business initiatives and projects.
