This is a hands-on role in a small, ambitious finance team where you’ll manage core reporting processes, ensure accuracy of the numbers, and partner with operational teams to deliver meaningful insight. With strong investor backing and a scale-up culture, you’ll have scope to get involved in projects outside your core remit as the company grows. WISH LIST Experience in a management accounting role within industry Track record of management accounts, reporting, and business partnering Comfortable in a scale-up, change-driven environment THE ROLE Review P&L lines, departments and balance sheet reconciliations Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals Provide variance analysis and commentary to support management accounts Work with department heads to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Partner with operational teams to explain financial performance in monthly reviews Support month-end and year-end close processes Prepare reconciliations and documentation for internal and external audits Identify opportunities for process improvement within finance Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies Contribute to ad hoc projects across the wider finance function YOUR PROFILE Part Qualified/Finalist (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Effective communicator – written & verbal Good working knowledge of MS Excel Experience in telecoms/tech fibre or a scale-up environment Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently SALARY & BENEFITS 50,000 – 55,000 Hybrid: 2 days in Reading office, 3 days from home Permanent, full-time role Benefits package plus exposure to a high-growth sector
