Finance Business Partner (Remote)

We’re supporting a well-known charity to recruit a Finance Business Partner to provide robust financial planning, insightful performance analysis, and strong stakeholder support across one of its key service areas. This is a pivotal role, offering a mix of challenge, variety and purpose, with exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to shape the organisation’s financial direction.

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner will be:

Providing high-quality finance business partnering to budget holders, senior managers, and executive teams
Supporting the development of financial plans, forecasts, and detailed performance analysis
Leading the budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes aligned to strategic plans
Simplifying and enhancing financial processes to improve internal customer experience
Identifying risks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement
Supporting business case development and investment appraisal
Promoting strong financial governance and supporting stakeholders with financial understanding
Contributing to the wider FP&A function and organisational goals

The successful candidate will be:

A fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experienced in management accounting and financial business partnering within large or complex organisations
A confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
Ideally experienced within the charity sector
Naturally analytical and collaborative, with strong stakeholder engagement skills

This role is being offered on a largely remote basis with travel to regional sites for key meetings only required a few times per month.
