This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join a leading organisation in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. Based in Exeter, you will provide financial insights and support decision-making processes across the business.

Description

· Prepare the monthly management accounts, providing commentary to senior leadership

· Prepare, monitor, and review budgets and forecasts across departments.

· Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

· Influence decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.

· Communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance professionals.

· Perform variance analysis to explain deviations from budget/forecast.

· Provide strategic insights to drive business performance and cost efficiency.

· Track and report on KPIs, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

· Develop dashboards and visual reports for performance tracking.

· Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and data integrity.

· Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting tools.

· Support ERP system enhancements or finance transformation projects.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proven experience in management reporting and financial planning processes.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Solid knowledge of the Energy & Natural Resources sector is desirable.
Competence in financial modelling and forecasting tools.
