Reed Accountancy is proud to be partnering with a well-established business based in Bradford in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a fully office-based role, working closely with a supportive team and reporting directly to the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a similar role and demonstrate strong analytical skills, particularly in interpreting financial data

Duties:

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
General ledger accounting
Create and send invoices
Petty cash management
Review cash flow
Process purchase invoices
Produce regular reporting and management accounts (journal postings and variance analysis)
Analyse data to recognise trends/changes
Maintain fixed asset register
Preparation of monthly underwriting analysis
Credit control
Provide financial management information
Produce annual budgets and financial accounts

You will need to demonstrate:

Experience within a similar position
Strong interest and ability in analysing and interpreting data, with a keen understanding of what the data reveals
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers
Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables)
Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures
