Finance and Risk Manager

We are currently working exclusively with a successful data management company who now wish to appoint Finance and Risk Manager. Reporting to MD this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business as Finance and Risk Manager. The role of Finance and Risk Manager will maintain all accounting records for the business including preparing bank reconciliations, calculating accruals & prepayments and invoicing. Preparation of monthly management pack including cashflow forecasting
Preparing annual statements including liaising with external auditors
Preparation of annual budget
Review the tax return and liaise with tax advisors
Monitoring cash and funding requirements
Overseeing Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
In partnership with senior management determine the level of risk appetite for the business

The Company:

A successful and growing specialist data management business. Offering specialist services as part of a large European financial services group. Hybrid working; 2 days per week work from home.

The Person:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Experienced of working in a small finance team preferably with financial services or IT. Other professional services sectors will be considered.
Prior exposure to RCSA’s would be beneficial
Willing to review current process and procedures and make recommendations
Strong interpersonal skills. Verbal and written.
Intermediate/advanced Excel.
Experience of MS Business Central would be beneficial

Salary:

£55k – £63k (pro rate for part-time) plus bonus, pension, dental/health, 25 days
