Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group is proud to be exclusively recruiting for a Finance Analyst on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based on the outskirts of Warrington.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a Commercial Accounts professional with Financial Analyst experience, looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive strategic business decisions.

Role Purpose:

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for producing management information, conducting performance analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. This individual will also contribute to business and process improvement initiatives to help meet the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, identifying trends and variances
Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning
Create insightful dashboards and reports for key stakeholders
Present complex data in an accessible format for non-finance colleagues
Support in preparing board packs, investment proposals, and strategic reports
Identify cost control and revenue enhancement opportunities through data analysis
Track KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Build strong working relationships across departments
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Assist in audit preparation and documentation
Contribute to day-to-day financial operations and projects

Skills & Experience Required:

Part-qualified AAT/ CIMA / ACCA, or relevant degree / HND with at least 2 years’ experience
OR QBE with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial tools
Strong analytical and numerical abilities; confident working with large data sets
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Comfortable presenting insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
