Day-to-day of the role:
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Family Law team lawyers.
Prepare legal documents and correspondence to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and handle client communications, providing excellent service and support.
Assist with file management, document filing, and compliance procedures to maintain high standards of legal service.
Support the team in various administrative tasks, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a legal secretary, specifically within family law.
Excellent typing and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining professional client relationships.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring quality in all forms of communication and documentation.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle sensitive issues with discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist across the department as needed.
