Facilities Manager – NHS

Venn Group have partnered with a large NHS Trust based in London to recruit an interim Facilities Manager on an initial 6 month contract.

Will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the soft services function, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services to enhance the patient experience and environment.

The post holder will require excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and have previous experienced as a Facilities manager.

Soft services include:
• Catering
• Cleaning, pest control and security guarding services.
• Front of house services including but not limited to main reception, telecommunications, switchboard and no emergency patient transport services.
• Portering including but not limited to linen and laundry, postal services, staff uniform, waste management and general services.

Rate: £32.87 per hour Umbrella
Location: London
Duration: 6 months initially
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Duties:

Support in leading soft services teams and managing service level agreements across Trust sites.
Manage daily operations and communication for in-house soft services staff and external contractors.
Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with contracts, improvement initiatives, and performance goals.
Develop and oversee the soft FM operational strategy and implementation plan.
Work with divisional and estates teams to represent soft FM and implement the quality management system.
Build team capability to drive organisational change and improve efficiency.
Support the delivery of the EFM sustainability strategy, embedding ownership across the estates team.
