We are seeking a Demand Planner to join our close knit and family-oriented team, operating within the BWS (Beer, Wines & Spirits) industry. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for forecasting and inventory management, who has exposure to both Supply and Demand Planning, with a desire to make a significant impact in a dynamic sector.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and execute demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation as part of the demand planning function.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Interact with sales, marketing, Logistics and Stock Control departments to understand demand forecast drivers.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with the above departments to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Provide input to the Supply Planning process by supporting the development of inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role.
Strong understanding of demand forecasting techniques and inventory management practices.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Proactive nature, with an ability to work independently and make well-thought-out decisions.
Knowledge of the BWS industry is a plus, but not essential.
