Annual Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
Location: Ipswich
Job Type: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Potential to Go Permanent)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Credit Controller to join our client’s finance team in Ipswich. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Day-to-day of the role:
Managing and reducing aged debt across a portfolio of customer accounts.
Building strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies and queries.
Issuing statements, reminders, and chasing overdue accounts via phone and email.
Working closely with the wider finance team to support month-end processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar).
A proactive and professional approach to credit management.
