Conveyancing Operations Manager – Cheadle Hulme
Are you an experienced conveyancing professional ready to step up into a senior operations role?
This is a fantastic chance to join a growing, close-knit law firm in Cheadle Hulme and take the reins of its Residential Property department.
You’ll oversee three busy teams – Instructions, Fee Earners, and Post-Completions – ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Working directly with the Managing Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping processes, driving performance, and delivering a first-class client service.
While your main focus will be operations and leadership, there is also an option for you to also handle a small caseload of complex property matters to keep your technical skills sharp.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing day-to-day operations across Instructions, Fee Earners, and Post-Completions
Supporting and mentoring staff to get the best from the team
Overseeing workflows, deadlines, and client care standards
Handling a small caseload of complex residential property files
Working alongside the Managing Partner to improve processes and strategy
Ensuring compliance and risk management are maintained
What We’re Looking For:
Solid background in residential conveyancing – private client experience would also be a big plus!
Previous management or team leader experience within property law
Strong knowledge of the full conveyancing process
Excellent communication and leadership skills
