Join a Specialist Lloyd’s Insurance Broker as a Compliance Specialist
This role promises a diverse array of responsibilities, it’s an exciting chance to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Projects: Identify and communicate upcoming regulatory changes, develop responsive policies, and integrate process changes.
* Business/Culture Support: Act as the compliance representative at Pillar Excoms, conduct risk assessments on trading partners, and enhance business controls.
* Policy Development: Support the creation and maintenance of compliance standards, policies, and procedures.
* Committee Coordination: Manage the Insurer Security, Third Parties, and Product Governance Committees, including risk assessments and reporting.
* Training and Communication: Provide regulatory updates, develop compliance tools, and collaborate with the Marketing team on communications.
* Legal Document Review: Assist in negotiating TOBAs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven Compliance experience in the Insurance Market
* Commercially pragmatic approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
* Good understanding of broking, underwriting businesses, and delegated authorities.
* Familiarity with Lloyd’s and the London Insurance Market.
* Experience within a compliance team in an insurance company, broker, consultancy, or regulator.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation.
* Proficiency in EXCEL, WORD, and SMARTSHEETS.
