An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing automotive manufacturing business as a Financial Controller, based in Coventry. Main Duties:
As the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Become a key commercial leader in the team
Leading the day-to-day operations of the finance department
Producing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Overseeing year-end accounts preparation and managing external audit processes.
Enhancing financial controls, compliance, and internal processes.
Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive cost control and margin improvement.
Developing KPIs, dashboards, and financial reporting tools.
Mentoring and managing a small finance team.
Supporting ERP/system enhancements in line with business growth.
Contributing strategic insights to the Finance Director and board for planning and investment.
Location / Office / Culture
This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, based in Coventry. The business operates in a forward-thinking, dynamic environment and offers the opportunity to learn from exceptional leadership.
What We Are Looking For
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
Strong experience across commercial and core finance
A proactive and commercial mindset with strong leadership and communication skills.
