Commercial Finance Manager

Main Duties:

As a Finance Manager, your main duties include:

Be a commercial finance lead to a number of business units
Business partner a range of stakeholders including finance and non finance staff
Production of monthly management reporting across the business unit, with support from junior staff
Oversee the preparation of business data and the delivery of advice to key customers and stakeholders, enabling effective performance monitoring and supporting informed decision-making, business planning, and sound financial management.
Establish and maintain accurate, comprehensive financial records, control frameworks, and policies to meet all statutory and regulatory obligations, ensuring the efficient management of associated processes.
Support the oversight, development, implementation, and evaluation of systems to maintain a strong control environment that safeguards the organisation’s assets and interests.
Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, proactively addressing and resolving issues or gaps to uphold high standards of customer service.
Lead the recruitment, performance management, and professional development of skilled staff, fostering high-performing teams capable of meeting business objectives and individual responsibilities.
Participate, where relevant, in special projects and change initiatives that advance the Group’s strategic goals.

Location / Office / Culture

This role is based in their modern offices in Worcester with a hybrid split with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. This may have some room for flexibility.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Experience within a similar role
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
