Claims Handler

Reed Business Support are excited to be working with local insurance provider in their search for a Technical Claims Handler! Based in Sheffield, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with a good technical background with time served as a motor technician or mechanic who may be looking at getting stuck into a more office-based environment.

Salary: £32,000
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

About the role:

Handling inbound enquiries from customers regarding potential claims
Directing them to a repairer where appropriate
Assisting repairers with our claims process
Authorising valid repairs
Processing invoices for payment of valid claims
Handle claims on policies speaking to customers and clients in order to process a claim and reach a settlement

About you:

An adaptable and positive attitude
Ready to undertake a new challenge working in a busy office
Previous experience within the motor industry is essential for Technical Claims Handlers
Experience providing a positive customer experience
Proficient in MS Office software
