Claims Assistant
Location: Chelmsford (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in office)

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in insurance and risk management solutions.

The Opportunity:

Working within the Real Estate team and reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and claims support across a range of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately inputting data to ensure high standards of data quality and management information.

Diary management and general team coordination.

Handling a variety of administrative tasks including booking appointments, scanning documents, photocopying, and filing.

Responding to external queries professionally and logging all correspondence.

Liaising with Loss Adjusters as required.

Ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures, including invoicing processes.

Producing, reviewing, and analysing management information reports.

Supporting projects and initiatives set by the Head of Real Estate.

Attending internal and external client review meetings.

Taking and distributing minutes and action points from meetings.

Assisting with onboarding of new clients and maintaining client documentation.

Liaising with brokers and insurers for renewal documentation.

Ad hoc administrative support as needed.

This is an entry-level position and prior experience in insurance or claims is not essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel knowledge would be advantageous.

A professional approach and the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
