Annual Salary: £27,000 – £28,500

We are seeking a Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our café within a dynamic agricultural retail environment. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team leadership. As Café Manager, you will ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and team performance, making every customer’s visit a delightful experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead and motivate the café team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and control waste to maintain efficiency.
Develop and implement new menu ideas and seasonal offerings to enhance customer experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café and related areas.
Schedule staff shifts and manage rotas to meet business needs effectively.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction.
Monitor financial performance and work towards achieving sales targets.
Support recruitment, training, and development of café staff to build a strong team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings as required.
Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
Desirable: Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and First Aid training.
Experience in catering, hospitality, or barista roles is preferred.
