Adjacency Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively partnering with an exciting and growing business within the Financial Services space in the South West region. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and drive business growth across their product portfolio. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, maintaining & growing existing accounts, as well as identifying and developing new business relationships. An exciting role for a hunter-style sales professional who is driven by growth & building new customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational goals
Attend internal and external business events
Present and pitch company products to existing & new customers
Achieve sales targets, track progress, and provide regular performance reports to senior management
Analyse sales data to forecast trends and adjust strategies accordingly
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align strategies and enhance customer satisfaction
The Business Development Manager will work closely & collaborate with across functional teams within the business
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the financial services industry
Ability to present and pitch to internal & external teams
Ability to attend company & client-facing events
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals
Ability to generate leads and secure new business
Proven track record in growing client relationships
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary of £35,000+ DOE
