This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and driven sales professional to join a fast-paced, growing company.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Business Development Manager. Our office is near Chelmsford. You will focus on managing existing key accounts, generating new business, and driving sales growth across the region.

You will report directly to the Group Sales Manager and play a critical role in expanding our presence in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts.
Conduct client visits, split evenly between new prospects and existing customers.
Generate new qualified leads through proactive outreach and networking.
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline and record all activity in CRM.
Submit proposals or quotes and drive conversion to closure.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets in line with budgets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Conduct quarterly reviews with key clients to assess satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge.

Requirements:

Proven B2B field sales experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
Self-starter with excellent time management and territory planning ability
Experience working with CRM systems and structured sales processes
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
