Business Development – Legal Services
Remote Working – Covering Scottish region
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 car allowance & bonus structure (15% commission)
Hours: 9am – 5pm (flexibility required)
Our client is an industry leader involved in supporting legal firms across the UK and abroad with various research projects. They are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Executive to cover their Scottish region.
You must have experience of the legal supplier industry, have good connections with Solicitors in Scotland and have good knowledge of the Private Client, Wills, Probate and/or Intestacy sector.
You will join the team, focusing specifically on expanding their client base within Scotland. This role will be pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, managing partnership relationships, building strong relationships with legal professionals, and promoting the company’s services to the sector.
You will be based remotely covering the Scottish region and will need to attend meetings across this area.
Responsibilities
Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients within the legal sector, including law firms, and financial institutions.
Develop targeted strategies to approach and engage these prospects.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the legal sector, including existing partnership relationships.
Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company and cultivate partnerships.
Generate leads and convert them into long-term clients by effectively communicating the value of the company’s services.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations & webinars tailored to the needs of legal professionals.
Work closely with the research team to ensure that client needs are met promptly and effectively. Provide feedback from clients to refine service offerings.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, case studies, and content that highlight the company’s expertise in the legal sector.
Monitor and report on business development activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and overall performance against targets.
Personal Specification
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, within the legal services sector.
Good connections with Solicitors in Scotland.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days p.a. (increases to 28 days after successful completion of the probationary period) bank holidays day off on your birthday.
