I’m currently working in partnership with a London Market broker seeking a Broker Technician to join their specialist team. About the Role
As a Technical Services Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both pre-inception and post-placement activities. You’ll be responsible for processing technical documentation, including evidence of cover, premium processing, bureaux submissions, credit control, and file/record management. You will also provide wider technical support to the team and assist with client and underwriter correspondence when required – ensuring all documentation meets client needs and adheres to company quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess a range of technical documentation related to Marine and Aviation risks Support premium processing, bureaux submissions, and credit control Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation Liaise with underwriters and clients as needed Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory and company quality standards Provide general technical support to the wider teamWhat We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical support role within the (re)insurance industry Solid understanding of the London insurance market Strong knowledge of FCA regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Cert CII qualification (or equivalent experience) Marine and/or Aviation market knowledge
