Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker based in Bromhamfor one of our clients on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities of theBridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

Working on various bespoke bridal gown projects.
Reading and cutting out patterns.
Trimming and sewing items.
Hand sewing delicate items and applying couture techniques.
Sewing corsetry and structure into gowns.
Making adjustments to gowns for finishing touches.

Requirements for a successful Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker

Excellent hand sewing and machine sewing skills.
Experience in pattern cutting and reading.
Extensive bridal wear experience including working with corsetry, structure, garment construction, patterns and fit.
Confident handling and working with luxury fabrics and completing couture techniques such as lace appliqué, draping and embroidery.

Summary of the Bridal Seamstress and Pattern Maker role

Salary: £18.50 per hour
Location: Bromham, Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Contract
Hours: Part time, 9:30am – 4:30pm 2-3 days a week
