Automotive Electrician

Bristol Auto is a Bristol based company established in 1980. We serve the South West. We are looking to increase our service side of the business and require two Electricians / fitters, we have a friendly team, we do not work weekends or evenings. The suitable candidate will receive a bonus after 6 months employment of £1200. 00 and after 12 months a further £1200.00 will be paid.

The Principal Duties of this role are as follows.

BONUS £1200.00 AFTER 6 MONTHS + £1200.00 AFTER 12 MONTHS

Installations of specialist aftermarket equipment into vehicles – Usually Safety products into Commercial vehicles – Cameras, Proximity sensors, Lighting, Power management and related equipment

General automotive electrical repairs and diagnostics – Fault finding and repair.

Experience in installing aftermarket equipment into new and used vehicles.

Knowledge in using various diagnostic equipment advantageous.

Must have good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and be able to diagnose faults.

City and Guilds or NVQ Qualifications will be especially useful however not essential.

Someone that is a qualified Master tech would be suitable.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Auto Electrician / installation engineer at Bristol Auto Electrical Ltd located in Bristol Area, United Kingdom.

The position is based at our workshop but at times you will attend jobs at customer premises.

A van is provided.

You Must have a full UK driving license

The applicant must be hard working, confident and friendly.

Secondary duties and responsibilities

Talking to customers

Liaising with Service department

Admin – Recording of Time, parts, and labour

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.30pm

Fridays 8.00am to 5.00pm
