An established independent accountancy practice in Sheffield is looking for a motivated Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a client-facing role with a varied portfolio of clients, while enjoying the benefits of working in a supportive and forward-thinking local firm.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse client base.
Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant regulatory standards.
Draft corporation tax computations and coordinate with internal tax specialists.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor.
Support, mentor, and review the work of junior team members.
Work closely with managers and partners to ensure efficient audit delivery and identify client service improvements.
What we’re looking for:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification).
Proven audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
Comfortable working with a varied client base across different industries.
Proficient with audit and accounting software (e.g. Caseware, IRIS, or similar).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally for client site visits.
