Audit Assistant Manager – London | Full-Time | Audit Department

Role Overview

The Audit Assistant Manager will play a key role within the Business Advisory Services Department, managing audit teams on-site, acting as the main point of contact for clients during fieldwork, and keeping senior management informed throughout the audit process.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audit fieldwork and manage client relationships
Assess audit risks and tailor approaches accordingly
Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
Review junior team members’ work and provide feedback
Prepare draft financial statements and disclosures
Address audit queries and adjustments professionally
Stay up to date with technical and regulatory developments

Working Arrangements

35-hour work week (Mon–Fri, 09:30–17:30)
Hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Candidate Requirements

ACA, ACCA, CA (or equivalent) qualification
Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion
Strong project management and team leadership skills
Excellent communication and technical proficiency
Familiarity with audit software (e.g., Excel, Audit Automation, CCH, Caseware)
