Robert Half are working in partnership with a rapidly growing, forward-thinking business near Cirencester to recruit an Assistant Accountant role to join their finance team on a permanent full-time basis. This is exciting role that will be heavily involved with preparing the monthly management accounts, financial analysis and business partnering with various stakeholders. The Assistant Accountant will play an integral part to the company’s growth prospects and will be have scope to develop and up-skill in the near future. The salary is between £30,000 – £35,000 plus study support, hybrid working and other excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Assistant Accountant role will consist of:

Preparing the monthly management accounts.
Preparing the annual budget and forecast.
Variance analysis.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Accruals and prepayments.
Fixed assets and depreciation.
Presenting data and management information to stakeholders.

Requirements

To be considered for the Assistant Accountant role, you must ideally have the following skills/attributes:

Must ideally have experience with supporting month-end/management accounts; accruals, prepayments, jounrals.
Ideally an ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier.
Strong attention to detail.
Hard work ethic.
Highly organised.
Excellent communication skills.
Innovative mindset.
Confident user of Excel.

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 – £35,000 annual salary
Hybrid working; 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
