We are seeking an Agricultural Service Technician to join our team in a dynamic role that involves maintenance and repairs of agricultural machinery. This position offers the opportunity to work both in the field at customer farms and at our depot workshop, providing a varied work environment with plenty of local travel.

Location: Retford
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000
Job Type: Full-time

Day-to-day of the role:

Perform maintenance and repairs on various agricultural machinery, ensuring high standards of work and customer satisfaction.
Travel to customer farms to provide onsite services, representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
Advise customers on optimisation techniques for their machines to enhance performance and efficiency.
Conduct routine maintenance diagnostics and repairs both in the field and at the depot workshop as required.
Complete all necessary reports and administrative tasks associated with work assignments promptly.
Engage in continuous learning through mandatory training sessions to support product knowledge and professional development.
Comply with all health and safety legislation, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of all staff, customers, and visitors.
Assist in pre-delivery setups on new or used equipment and support service specialists when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Professional demeanour with the ability to promote the company positively.
Knowledge of agricultural equipment is preferred, but not required as full training will be provided.
Valid driving licence is essential for operating company vehicles and agricultural equipment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, particularly during seasonal peaks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
