Agile Project Manager

We’re keen to speak to seasoned IT Project Managers about a new role we have with a Financial Services client in Central London.

Please note this role is outside IR35 and will require onsite attendance twice a week.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies to lead the successful delivery of a fresh technology project. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and driving continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of an IT project (from scratch) using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Build, coach, and support Agile teams, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (user stories, stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets to ensure project success.
Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, developers, QA, and external partners.
Work with Salesforce to cover business wide delivery and changes
Track and report on project progress, ensuring timely communication of status and escalations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes and team performance.
Ensure IT project outcomes align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally delivering projects in Agile environments.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and IT delivery processes.
Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Agile) preferred.
