About the Role

A London-based, venture-backed startup is seeking an Agentive Software Engineer to accelerate the development and integration of its AI-powered platform. You will help build agentic systems that automate operational, analytical, and commercial workflows for elite law firms—making unstructured data usable for business development, pricing, and engagement management. This is a remote-first role, with frequent opportunities for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven, agentic systems to automate and augment legal and financial workflows.
Build scalable, production-grade solutions using Python, Golang, and AWS.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and product leaders to improve decision-support tools and system integrations.
Lead efforts in ML Ops and data engineering, creating pipelines and backend infrastructure that power business intelligence insights.
Take ownership of systems integration, working closely with other engineering and data science colleagues.
Work in a fast-moving environment, adapting rapidly as the team and business scale.

Requirements

Hard Skills

Professional experience with Python and Golang, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
Track record of building and integrating scalable, production-grade AI software.
Strong skills in ML Ops, backend development, and data engineering.
Advanced STEM degree (preferably from a top-tier university), with demonstrable engineering achievement.
Familiarity and hands-on experience designing agentic AI solutions.

Soft Skills
