Job Title: Administrator
Annual Salary: £25,500
Location: Barking, Essex
Job Type: Full-time, Office-based, Mon-Thurs (8am-5pm) Friday (8am-4.30pm)

A specialised engineering company supporting major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK and globally are seeking an Administrator. This is a hire desk role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in customer service, and has strong administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with engineers and provide administrative support.
Coordinate with the yard team regarding stock control.
Use Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and Excel effectively.
Work safely and adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Welcome and assist visitors, customers, and drivers in a courteous and professional manner.
Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with Sales Representatives to resolve customer queries.
Process customer orders, identify shortfalls, and arrange stock transfers as needed.
Accurately update equipment records on the branch stock system.
Prepare quotations and estimates for Low-Tech products, consumables, and accessories.
Utilise other company systems to support the smooth operation of the branch.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in administrative or clerical roles.
Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
