Import Customs Coordinator – Newport
Salary: Starting from £25,500 | Full-Time | Office-Based | 30 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday Off

A&G Resourcing, acting as a recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced administrator for an Import Customs Coordinator role within a busy Customs Office in Newport.

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with administration background to support the Customs Team. You’ll ensure smooth cargo movement within the UK and Northern Ireland, liaising with clients, HMRC, and third-party service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit Import Customs Forms and Safety & Security Declarations.
Collect and verify documentation from importers, exporters, and other stakeholders.
Accurately input data into customs systems.
Communicate effectively with clients, warehouse keepers, and hauliers.
Coordinate HMRC compliance requirements and respond to customer service queries.
Ensure all customs declarations meet tight deadlines and legal standards.

Working Hours & Overtime

Standard Hours: 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch)

Candidate Requirements

Administration experience is essential
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
