Cobham (100% Office Based)

We’re looking for a detail-driven, organised, and enthusiastic individual to join a creative interior design business in Cobham. This is a varied role combining purchasing and finance support, ideal for someone who enjoys working across departments and wants to grow their skills in a supportive environment.

What you’ll be doing:

Helping to place and manage orders for goods and services
Communicating with suppliers to get quotes and negotiate pricing
Keeping supplier and inventory records up to date
Raising and tracking purchase orders and invoices
Supporting accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving any issues
Assisting with bank and credit card reconciliations
Helping with general office management (ordering supplies, managing petty cash, etc.)
Creating client proposals and project costings (training provided)

Further Ad Hoc Support:

Keeping financial and purchasing documents organised
Working closely with other departments to keep things running smoothly
Responding to queries from suppliers and internal teams
Supporting with ad-hoc tasks and projects when needed

The Ideal Candidate:

At least 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
Good understanding of basic accounting and purchasing processes
Experience with purchase ledger and bank reconciliations
Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office
Experience with Sage or Xero is a bonus
Great communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Able to manage time well and work independently
Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
