Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Salary: Negotiable

Hours: Full time, hybrid working

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of this innovative business based in Bury St Edmunds. Our client would like this Accounts Assistant to come into this business and really get involved and have a great want to learn and develop within this role. We are seeking a proactive candidate looking for a varied and rewarding role within a fast-paced dynamic business.

Main areas of responsibility:

Credit control and customer queries
Processing supplier invoices and ensuring correct authorisations
Preparing customer statements and supplier payments
Reconciling credit/debit card transactions and petty cash
Supporting staff expenses and finance documentation
Assisting with audits and payment matching
Monitor finance email inbox
Matching payments
Providing holiday cover and general finance support
Any ad-hoc duties required

Required Skills and Desired Experience:

Knowledge of accounting, administration, or office management
Experience with accounting systems and creditors
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
