Senior Financial Reporting Specialist – 6-month contract

Our client, a commodities firm, is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team in London for a 6-month Fixed-term contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

Prepare financial statements in Excel, Word, and financial systems under US GAAP, UK GAAP (consolidated), and other regional GAAPs.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely audits and compliance with statutory reporting deadlines.
Utilise consolidation and reporting platforms (NetSuite, Oracle FCCS, Mosaic, etc.) to optimise reporting workflows.
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports, including detailed analysis and commentary.

You will need to have the following experience:

5+ years of hands-on financial reporting experience, preferably within the commodities trading sector.
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS, with proven application in practice.
Skilled in preparing consolidated accounts and statutory financial statements.
Demonstrated experience working with auditors, regulators, and tax advisors.
Advanced Excel proficiency, strong Word skills, and familiarity with reporting/consolidation systems
