Eames are partnering with a PE-backed energy company based in the City of London to hire a Financial Reporting Manager.
Following recent funding from a well-known private equity firm, our client has exciting plans for growth over the coming years. This is a newly created role as part of the growth strategy.
The successful candidate will take the lead on management and financial reporting for the group, while also managing and overseeing a small team.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
Lead the statutory accounts preparation in line with IFRS standards
Manage and develop the financial accounting team
Assist with management reporting, including board packs and financial analysis
Take full ownership of the monthly reporting process
Lead the audit process as the main point of contact at year-end
Own the group consolidation process for multiple entities
Own regulatory reporting requirements
Undertake ad hoc duties as required
Person Requirements
ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
Strong technical understanding of financial controls under IFRS
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Confident communicator with the ability to engage cross-functionally and drive change
