Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers. The team works with a diverse client base across the UK and internationally, including entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses, AIM-listed companies, and not-for-profit organisations across sectors such as retail, technology, professional services, and more.
With turnovers typically ranging from £20m to £40m (and in some cases much higher), you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of clients and projects, supported by a collaborative and talented team. Key Responsibilities
Oversee your own portfolio of clients, including workforce planning, WIP management, and billing.
Delegate audit, accounts, and some tax compliance work, reviewing completed files before final review by the RI.
Provide constructive feedback to junior and senior team members.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
Support business development through networking, events, and tendering for new work.
Contribute to wider team responsibilities, such as interviewing and marketing.
Desired Experience & Skills
ACA, ICAS, CA or ACCA qualification.
Experience in a manager-grade role with responsibility for a portfolio of clients.
People management experience.
Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Commercially minded, with a focus on client development.
Familiarity with audit software (Caseware preferred) and Microsoft Office.
