Financial Controller FTC

A market-leading organisation in their field are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller on a project basis for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and play a pivotal role in improving processes and driving efficiency across both transactional and management accounting functions. You will work closely with a driven Finance Director and Commercial Financial Controller and Head of Finance.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller / Project Accountant who can quickly integrate into the business, access ways of working and make recommendations for improvements to be implemented over the next year. This will reduce data manual input and automate duties within the team.

Reviewing and streamlining transactional accounting processes
Enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of management accounts
Implementing best practices and identifying efficiency opportunities whilst controlling risks
Partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive change
Providing hands-on support to the finance team during a period of transformation

The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE)
Have proven experience working in contract or interim roles within fast-paced environments
Possess strong technical and process-improvement skills
Be confident operating at Financial Controller level with a “roll up your sleeves” approach
Ideally be immediately available or available to start September 2025
