Join a leading professional services firm specialising in audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services. We are currently seeking a Tax Trainee to join our tax team to study and progress through the ATT qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual starting their career in tax to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Assist in the preparation of tax computations and returns for a variety of clients.
Support the team in gathering and analysing financial data for tax purposes.
Communicate with clients to request information and provide updates on work progress.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines.
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and help apply them to client scenarios.
Participate in internal training sessions to build technical knowledge and develop expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A genuine interest in tax and a strong willingness to learn.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
A proactive and organised approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Good problem-solving skills and a desire to understand the “why” behind the numbers.
IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Good educational attainment, GCSE grade 5 and upwards in English and Maths, and good A-Level / BTec / T-Level results in related subjects (business, economics, maths, accounting).
