Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working with a dynamic organisation based in Worcester as they look to recruit a Group Accountant on a permanent basis. Our client are a fast-growing and highly entrepreneurial consumer products business that are recognised on an international scale.

Your new role
Working as part of their central finance team, this is a high-impact role which allows the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a large business setting and offer exposure to international operations, strategic decision-making and senior leadership.

Key duties:

Consolidate monthly results across UK and overseas entities
Monthly and statutory reporting
Partner with FDs and key stakeholders across the Group
Support with M&A analysis and group financing initiatives
Assist with the improvement of processes and systems
Help with the integration of new businesses into Group processes
Ad hoc project work

What you’ll need to succeed

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) from either practice or industry
Technically competent with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Group consolidation/reporting experience (beneficial but not essential)
Proactive approach to work and a forward-thinking mindset
Strong IT skills and comfortable using ERP systems (Oracle an advantage)

What you’ll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and be given the opportunity to add value in a dynamic PLC environment. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite at their modern offices in Worcester and 2 days WFH.
