International Payroll Manager

Salary – £100,000 to £130,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits

psd group are partnering with a leading global fund manager to appoint an International Payroll Manager to oversee their payroll operations in theUK and US. This role offers the opportunity to shape processes, lead a small team, and work at the intersection of finance, compliance, and people operations in a truly global environment.

Your role:

As Payroll Manager, you’ll report into the Senior International Finance Manager, in the UK , working with the Global Payroll Manager. You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and efficientpayrolls for both their US and UK staff, managing third-party providers, and driving process improvements across two key international markets.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead end-to-end payroll operations for the UK (monthly) and US (fortnightly) offices
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax, and pension requirements in both jurisdictions
Manage and develop payroll team members while building strong cross-functional relationships
Oversee and challenge third-party payroll providers (ADP), ensuring high standards of service
Deliver accurate reporting, reconciliations, and payroll audits for senior management and external regulators
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and system enhancements
Provide proactive advice to leadership on payroll-related matters

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in US & UK payroll management (multi-currency, multi-country desirable)
US payroll tax andcompliance knowledge
Strong technical payroll skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail
Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders
Familiarity with ADP and/or Oracle HCM is highly regarded
A track record of driving payroll improvements and system transitions
