Finance Operations Manager

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a fast-growing B-Corp
business based in central Bristol, to recruit a Finance Operations Manager.

The role:

The primary focus of this role will be to support with audit processes, financial reporting, and
financial and commercial decision-making. You will also be required to review, maintain and
interrogate financial models, and help the business manage investment and financial risk.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Supporting with annual audit and preparation of accounts
Acquisition accounting
Budget preparation and capital availability forecasting
Identify efficiencies and automate processes
Business partner with stakeholders and provide financial analysis to enable sound decision making
Assist in preparation of portfolio valuation, forecasting and capital planning
Interrogate group portfolio models, and support with developing and improving your own financial models
Provide technical accounting support for investment approvals, and reporting on portfolio risk assessment

The person:

The successful candidate in this role, will be a Qualified Accountant with post qualified experience across technical accounting, data analysis and financial modelling. Knowledge and understanding of IFRS is essential, and experience of dealing with multi entity and consolidation accounting is highly desirable. You will possess advanced Excel capabilities and excellent analytical skills, and will be comfortable preparing management information and presenting to senior management.
