This well-known beauty brand is a leader in its sector, known for innovation, sustainability, and a strong global presence. With continued expansion across Europe, they are now seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the German entity’s financials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Your new role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Managing all end-to-end accounting for the German entity
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit processes
Liaising with external advisors and local teams in Germany
Supporting group reporting and consolidation processes
Maintain and monitor internal controls and SOX compliance
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance operations

What you’ll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in international accounting and fluent German language skills. You’ll be confident working independently, have strong technical knowledge, and ideally have experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Immediate availability is essential.
