About the Role
This exceptional opportunity invites you to become part of an energetic litigation team consisting of seven accomplished fee earners supported by dedicated administrative professionals. The role presents an ideal platform for an experienced paralegal to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters while contributing to the firm’s ongoing expansion and success. The position offers considerable flexibility, with arrangements available for both full-time and part-time working patterns to accommodate your professional preferences.
Personal Injury Paralegal Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of MOJ Portal and FastTrack personal injury claims with minimal supervision
Provide comprehensive support on Intermediate Track cases under guidance from senior fee earners
Assist with document preparation and case management for complex Multi Track litigation
Conduct initial client interviews and gather relevant case documentation
Liaise with medical experts, insurers, and third parties throughout the claims process
Prepare court bundles, witness statements, and supporting case documentation
Handle settlement negotiations within delegated authority limits
Maintain accurate case management systems and ensure compliance with court deadlines
Support business development activities and contribute to departmental growth initiatives
Personal Injury Paralegal Requirements
Experienced Paralegal with substantial personal injury litigation background
Clinical Negligence experience highly desirable and advantageous
Excellent case management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding client communication abilities and professional telephone manner
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of court procedures, CPR, and relevant legislation
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team objectives
Commitment to primarily office-based working from the Taunton location
Professional qualification or working towards CILEX membership preferred
